Sir Cumference and the Great Knight of Angleland Review
In this entertaining math adventure, Sir Cumference's son, Radius, enters upon a quest. Quests were the thing to do for aspiring knights in the ancient land of Angleland (apparently now known as England on current maps). So Radius goes to rescue King Lell, and takes with him a medallion, very much like a protractor. He uses it to determine angles which help him to follow the clues to find the missing king. When he is successful, angles are named after similar places in his adventure, such as the Mountains of Obtuse. Plenty of math terms find themselves in the story, which make it all the more entertaining. Such a great way to introduce geometry to younger children!

Sir Cumference is Great! - Amber Drummond -
This is a great book. It has lots of mathematical elements while also being fun for middle school students. I, as a math teacher, enjoyed reading this book to my students. The math terms that tie the book together are very creative in the way they are presented. If you are reading this book to a class of middle school students, it will take from ten to fifteen minutes to read completely if the class is attentive. The math described in the book can help students to remember those terms later.

fun math book - IN mom - Francesville, IN
We are enjoying reading this, as well as the other books in this series. They are a fun way to illustrate geometry. Although we are not to geometry yet, our boys will be able to come back to these books later - although the stories are fun for them now as elementary kids.
A math adventure - Jon Cverna - Warren, OH
This book is written on a level for young readers, providing an adventure story while at the same time teaching the young reader some math fundamentals of circles. This is but one of a series of such books and after reviewing this first one, I will be ordering more books in this series. Such books provide a fun way for young readers to learn.
